One of the main goals of Hancock County Ambulance Service is to provide a high level of training to not only ourselves, but to other healthcare agencies and the general public. Through continuing education on all levels we feel we not only improve ourselves, but make the community stronger in general. We hope our training center will become one of the first places you look in your quest to find high quality training for all levels. New classes are always being scheduled so please check this site often.
Currently we offer classes in the following subject areas with in-house instructors:
Heartsaver CPR and BLS for Healthcare Providers
First Aid
Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Pediatric Education for Prehospital Providers
International Trauma Life Support- Basic, Advanced, and Pediatric Levels
First Responder courses both new and refresher
Also we frequently have guest instructors for other courses of interest to not only EMS providers but to the general public.
